What about my existing online forms?
If you are using an on-premise software, you can largely reuse the forms without having to create them again from scratch. With cloud software, it depends on whether that solution offers export options.
Which Content Management Systems does Shout support?
Shout can be combined with any CMS on the market. As of now you will get the best UX when combining our solution with FirstSpirit.
Which technologies is Shout based on?
The frontend has been implemented in Vue.js whereas the backend is a containerized Node.js application.
Does my website have to be restructured to be able to use Shout?
No, Shout does not require any special web technologies to be integrated on a website. The design is also independently adaptable.
What prior knowledge do I need to master before being able to get started with Shout?
Shout is designed to make form creation as easy as possible. The intuitive design makes lengthy familiarization obsolete. Just try it yourself in our Live Demo. Developers only need to know the classic web technologies: HTML / CSS / Javascript. Getting started is even easier if you have Vue.js experience.
Which system requirements does Shout have for my technical infrastructure?
Since the backend is provided as a Docker image, you can operate it in existing Kubernetes or Docker environments without any problems.
How can I change the form layout?
You can change the design we deliver as a default or replace it with your own CSS instructions. The HTML of the individual components within Shout will also be editable in future releases.
Do I have to operate all Shout components in the same environment?
This is not required. The shout backend can be operated separately (e.g. in the cloud) and data can be stored on your own hardware instead.
